Privacy
This covers BDub Design Studio — the website and the app — run by B-Dub Innovations, Inc., and was last updated 15 September 2026.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, phone number and the address of the project. We ask for all four when you make an account, because nothing can be designed or priced without them.
- Photos you take or upload of the space, and photos of work in progress taken by our crew.
- Room measurements, including a laser scan of the room if a rep takes one on a phone or tablet that supports it.
- What you tell us you want, and the design conversation you have in the app.
- If you sign a contract: your typed signature, the date and time, the internet address you signed from, and the browser you used. That is what makes an electronic signature provable.
- Ordinary server records — the pages requested and the internet address they were requested from.
What we never collect
Card numbers and bank details. We do not take payments in the app at all. When a deposit or a draw is due we raise an invoice in QuickBooks and send you to Intuit's own payment page. The only thing this app ever asks QuickBooks is whether an invoice has been paid.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to anyone for advertising.
Where it goes
We use a small number of outside services to do the work. Each one gets only what it needs for its part:
- Anthropic — your photos and the design conversation are sent to Claude, which is what reads the room and talks the design through with you. It is also what reads a repair photo to describe the damage.
- OpenAI — if we generate a visual of a design direction, your photo is sent there to make it.
- Google — address lookup while you type.
- Washington State Department of Revenue — the project address, to get the right sales tax rate for it.
- Intuit QuickBooks — your name, email and the invoice, so it can bill you and take the payment.
- Cloudflare — carries the traffic between your phone and our server.
- Google Workspace — the email we send you.
Our own copy lives on a server we run, and only our staff reach it, each seeing the jobs their role allows.
How long we keep it
If you never sign a contract, we keep your project so you can come back to it, and it goes the moment you close your account.
If you do sign, Washington law requires a registered contractor to keep the signed contract for three years and to produce it to the Department of Labor and Industries on request. RCW 18.27.114. So we keep the signed contract, and it has your name and the project address on it. We also keep what was paid against it and the photos of the work itself, because we warranty that work.
Closing your account
Sign in, open your projects, and use Close your account at the bottom of the page. It deletes your sign-in, and it deletes every project you never signed a contract for, photos included. It cannot be undone.
If you have signed a contract, we keep that contract for the three years described above, and everything else about you goes — your login, your contact details, your own photos, and the design conversation. If you would rather we did it for you, call or email and we will.
Your choices
- Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct anything wrong and we will.
- Ask us to delete it, subject to the contract we are required to keep.
Children
This is a tool for buying construction work. It is not for children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this changes we will change the date at the top. If it changes in a way that matters we will tell you.
